Abstract
CLINICAL PHARMACOGNOSY
1.
Pharmacy is recognized as a subject within the medical field. This editorial introduces "Clinical Pharmacognosy, "a novel integrated and transdisciplinary aspect between the two separate and significant pharmacy areas, like Pharmacognosy and Clinical pharmacy. Since people first started treating ailments, pharmacognosy, which literally means researching remedies derived from natural origin has been a part of the medical sciences. The study of drugs derived from plants encompasses the fields of pharmacology, chemistry, and botany. Pharmacognosy has advanced to include phytochemistry, plant biotechnology, phytotherapy, marine and zoo pharmacognosy, medicinal ethnobotany, and ethnopharmacology. Despite numerous advancements and expansions, pharmacognosy still lacks a direct connection to clinical trials.
